Overview
When opening up new sales markets in Europe and overseas, companies increasingly rely on employees with global management know-how and intercultural skills. Anyone who sees their career in internationally oriented companies and corporations should therefore opt for the bachelor’s degree in “International Management”, because this is where the economic foundations for international business are laid.
The basis of the German/English-language bachelor’s program is, among other things, specialist knowledge in strategic management, human resources, the international accounting standards IFRS, marketing and commercial law as well as the development and expansion of foreign language skills. There are several English-language specialist modules as well as special language modules that build on one another.
The course also includes subject areas such as International Economic Policy, in the context of which the effects of trade embargoes and political conflicts on economic relations are dealt with. In addition, for example, as part of turnaround management, the early detection of operational crises and a company restructuring are played out, always using current examples from the economy.
In addition to this, during your studies you will learn to analyze your own strengths and areas for development, develop individual learning strategies and will be supported in systematically developing your professional and personal skills. The “International Management” course qualifies you as a sought-after specialist for work in international organizations and/or international teams of large and medium-sized companies.
