Entry qualification

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Each applicant has to demonstrate that he or she has collected no less than 30 ECTS credits in the fields of economics, management and business administration or other social sciences. Applicants must upload education documents in original language, as well as translations into English. Diplomas and transcripts issued outside EU must be legalized with a legalization stamp or Apostille. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Territory requirements	Applications are NOT accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): Bangladesh, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen.

Language requirements	English IELTS and TOEFL are not compulsory, as your level of English will be tested during the motivational interview. If your first language is English and/or if you have a university degree in English, you will be exempt from providing an English language test score.

Other requirements

At least 2 reference(s) must be provided. A motivation letter must be added to your application. If your qualification and motivation match the programme, you will receive an invitation for an interview with the Admissions Committee. Applicants to the study programme Finance and Banking (in Lithuanian and English) are awarded an additional point for passing the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exam.

Overview

Finance programme has been taught in Lithuanian language for several years and is constantly updated based on recommendations of students and social partners to keep up with scientific and practical changes in finance. This programme is among the most popular Master programmes for the study candidates. The programme received positive evaluations from the international accreditation experts’ team. Starting with 2015, the programme has been offering an opportunity for the best students to obtain a double degree from the University of Siena, Italy during the fourth (additional) semester.
The aim of the programme is to prepare highly qualified finance specialists, able to perform analytical and managerial work in financial institutions and financial units of other organizations.
