Conditions d'admission

Master (ou plus) Master’s Degree in Humanities or Social Sciences; discussion on the research paper submitted, which presents an expanded conception of the Doctoral research; examination in a foreign language. Applicants must upload education documents in original language, as well as translations into English. Diplomas and transcripts issued outside EU must be legalized with a legalization stamp or Apostille. Vous devrez apporter vos certifications/diplômes lorsque vous vous rendrez à l’université.

The aim of the Doctoral Study Programme in History and Archeology is to ensure the consistency of the study of history, training of leading employees of scientific, higher education and cultural institutions, who have the competence to raise and solve the most important issues of modern history, developing and strengthening Latvia’s scientific potential, which in a broader sense means participation in the formation of the intellectual elite, as well as the ability to influence the direction and priorities of the development of the national study of history.
