The human resources management major focuses on managing people from a social, cultural and political point of view while developing management skills and fostering creative thinking. Students will learn effective talent scouting and management in addition to the trends and techniques necessary to build a top-notch team of business professionals.
Структура программы
The MBA in Human Resources Management (90 ECTS) is a one-year, three-term degree. Students complete five to six course modules per term which are combined with seminars, company visits, guest speaker sessions and case studies among others. In order to graduate, students must complete a management research methods module and a dissertation. This program is also available as a two-year, six-term, part-time degree.

Human resources directors are skilled communicators with excellent interpersonal skills. They are highly organized professionals and good problem-solvers. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is necessary for this position.
Labor Relations Specialist
Labor relations specialists manage the relationship between management and employees. Their functions include representing the organization in the collective bargaining process, communicating with trade unions and mediating in employee disputes, among others. Their end goal is to ensure a good working environment. Labor relations specialists are up to date on the labor laws, policies and wage levels within their sector.
Labor relations specialists have strong interpersonal, communication and mediation skills. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is necessary in this position.
HR Business Partner
A HR business partner works within a business unit creating strategies to ensure that procedural, resourcing and organizational goals are met through an organization’s human resources policy. As opposed to an HR manager, a HR business partner will not have direct administrative responsibilities. They work closely with management and may form part of the board of management. As part of their job function, they will propose HR initiatives, look for ways to improve management-employee relations and foster best practices.
To succeed as an HR business partner, professionals should be strategic thinkers and have good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Human Resources Consultant
Human resources consultants may specialize in several fields. Their aim is to help organizations improve their human resources policies and pool of talent. These professionals are typically contracted for specific projects such as benefit packages, the detection of talent within an organization, reward programs, integration after mergers and acquisitions, training and recruitment. A human resources consultant will analyze an organization’s current situation and needs and present project proposals to management for approval. They may help with a project’s implementation.
